Counting the cars on the new jersey turnpike

I need a break from work. I've been writing a 4 page philosophy paper today. Well, more of a "reflection essay." I finished it around 3:30, actually and after that I read for Old Testament for a bit...before falling asleep. I woke up, edited my paper, and here I am. So...

Highlights of the Week:

Monday: One of Ben's Korean housemates cooked dinner for Ben and ended up inviting me as well. I was touched by his gesture of hospitality -- and grateful for the tasty food. Jonathan, you would have been proud of me. It was spicy, but I didn't flinch...much. I ate a lot of rice and drank a lot of water, but the food was absolutely delicious. Especially the chicken. He made a dish that sounds like....tenack tan, or something like that. Chicken, carrots, something else, in spices. We also had sesame leaf. While I'm not sure of what I ate, I do know that it was good. And at the end of the meal, we asked if we could help clean up, and he said that we should go back upstairs and that he would take care of it. I got up to throw away my plate (we were eating off of disposable plates) thinking that it's not that big of a deal - just taking care of something small. He stood up and stopped me, saying "no, I'll do it!" I was pretty touched by that.

Tuesday: Not going to Church History. I took care of a scholarship check.

Wednesday: Surviving. (Long day)

Thursday: Getting cooking supplies!!! Again, a gesture of generosity. I was pretty blown away. Still am.

OK. Nothing terribly interesting. Life goes on as it does.
