So you know how like... when something's really loud you can feel it vibrating through your entire body? Yeah, that's what the Panic! at the Disco concert was like.
And oh my god it was so fucking glorious.
I kind of just want to live in those hours forever.
Cause I mean even though it was sweltering and sweaty and the concept of personal space was pretty much completely gone, there was just this amazing energy and gah it was fabulous.
But yeah. I just kind of want to... talk about it. You don't have to read this shit if you don't want to, but I'll attempt to keep it brief.
Anyways. Foxy Shazam and Fun opened, neither of which I had heard of beforehand, but both of which were kind of really fucking awesome (and as it turned out, a Fun song shows up on my pandora quick mix all the time so I was excited when they played that).
Foxy Shazam is fucking cray. Like, all of them. They are pretty much insane and also pretty much glorious.
THEY HAVE A BRASS PLAYER, OKAY?! A REALLY SEXY BRASS PLAYER (and I'm like 70% certain that he and the lead singer are in love, just sayin). AND EVEN IF HE WASN'T REALLY SEXY AND EVEN IF HE DIDN'T MOVE LIKE A FUCKING SEX MACHINE, JUST THE FACT THAT HE PLAYS BRASS AUTOMATICALLY MAKES HIM AND THE BAND THE MOST GLORIOUS EVER.
But yeah. They were entertaining. One of the dudes had a Lincoln beard and their bassist was wearing a really cheesy Santa shirt and dove off the stage and crown surfed and when he was walking back to the stage he brushed against me and I pretty much died but I'm a fucking creep so whatever.
Fun is fucking attractive. Like, all of them. They are so pretty to look at. And I ship every single one of them with each other.
Anyways, not too much to say about them except that they had this really hot chick and their lead singer was really charismatic and they were good with band/audience interactions and seriously you guys they were so so so pretty.
But yeah, both of the openers were really good. And the lead singers both had very interesting voices, which always attracts me to bands. <3
And Panic. I could say all the words about Panic.
But first I'll just say that they flirted shamelessly with the audience and basically we all had an orgy, or maybe that was just me daydreaming.
And they played the best songs.
And Brendon kept complaining about it being hot as shit, but the sweatier he got the sexier he got as well so I don't know what he was complaining about, seriously.
But yeah, I guess Cleveland is the last city that Foxy Shazam is opening in? And at one point Brendon Urie that sexy bitch said something about how he was gonna give them all goodbye kisses and then he was all like "I'm trying not to cry up here, drowning my sorrow in cheep beer".
And then he proceeded to drink a lot of fucking beer during the show, but who knows maybe that's standard for this kind of thing, I can't say I have too much experience in the matter.
Okay, I feel like this is all going to get rather incohesive at this point, but just bear with me.
At one point the really really really sexy guitarist and the only slightly less sexy bassist were standing with their foreheads pressed together and my crazy little fangirl heart burst into little pieces and got put back together through THE POWER OF MAN LOVE OMG.
Some of the guys from Fun came back on stage and played a song with Panic! at the Disco. It was cute.
They played a sleazy love song type thing. And then proceeded to dry hump their instruments. It was oddly alluring.
THEY PLAYED THE MARIO THEME. AND THAT SONG THAT PLAYS WHEN YOU GO THROUGH A PIPE AND IT'S ALL DARK. YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. PROBABLY. THE DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH MUSIC. YOU KNOW. AND THEN THE REALLY REALLY REALLY SEXY GUITARIST MADE THE COIN SOUND AND BRENDON WAS JUST LIKE 'HE'S COLLECTING COINS' AND I COULDN'T STOP GRINNING AND IT WAS PERFECT.
AND THEN. AND THEN SOMETHING EVEN MORE AMAZING HAPPENED.
THEY PLAYED KANSAS. MOTHER FUCKING KANSAS. LIKE, CARRY ON WAYWARD SON. YEAH. THEY PLAYED THAT.
I WAS IN AWE.
I PRETTY MUCH PEED MY PANTS.
I.
I DONT' EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY.
TO MAKE YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND.
IT WAS AMAZING.
/DIES ALL OVER AGAIN.
Seriously though, I was dying.
But yeah, it was awesome.
And I don't even care that I got unintentionally molested more times than I could count. Totally fucking worth it. :D
