I find it funny (not, you know, 'hah, hah' funny, but more interesting in a 'I hope I didn't need what I just forgot in order to learn that trivia' kind of way) that the thing that seems to drive me back to this outlet is the resumption of regular work. I've got basically as much work as I can handle putting together
ultrasound manuals for numerous countries where I'm sure they need them. It's interesting enough, solving layout and presentation problems in Word, but, frankly...meh. I feel sort of like Helen Keller in grand and glorious, multi-media extravaganza. I know I'm supposed to enjoy it, but there are the obvious limitations.
At this point, I really just need to get through Norwescon. I need to do my
critiques, prep for the panel I'm sort of dreading (it not the topic), and hopefully get
moved. If I can just keep things straight until the calendar inevitably resolves them, I'll be okay.
After that I'll set a different schedule.
