Reckon I will start with the good stuff.
Ally can take up to about 10 steps at a time these days. I am just waiting for the time that she starts to go and just takes off across the entire room. I know it is coming soon. She is slowly building up her confidence. We take her to the play area at 2 local malls a lot, which helps, because she can see the other little kids walking and also because the ground is cushy so when she falls it doesn't hurt at all.
Her top middle teeth are *finally* breaking through, after months of pain and annoyance. The left one broke through about 2 days ago, and the right one should be any time now. I am sure this will be very pleasing to her, hehe, although I think I see the white hard bumps where the 2 beside these 2 will be coming soonish, so the relief may be short lived.
We cut her hair for the first time the other night. Just her bangs, the rest of it needs to get longer, hehe, but her bangs were down past her eyes. I did it, and I think I did a pretty decent job, although not perfect.
In 2 weeks she will be a year old. This is insanely hard to believe. It doesn't seem like nearly that long. At that time, paci and bottle disappear. I am actually not that worried about paci...I know she can sleep without it as she has before, and most of the rest of the time she only uses it out of habit. Bottle is going to be harder, as she is picky about sippy cups. She actually would rather drink out of a normal cup, but she doesn't realize that she has no idea how, lol.
I got my first mani/pedi on Monday. It was my (delayed) anniversary present from lovely hubby. I enjoyed it quite a lot, especially the pedi. Also, having someone else paint your nails is great, because then you don't have to take forever doing it because you are a perfectionist, lol. They are a pretty, very dark purple right now. Although it is starting to chip a bit so it probably won't be on much longer. Alas.
OK, now for the less fun to talk about part. I took a pregnancy test this past Monday and it came back positive, and we were super excited. I was very hopeful, and honestly thought that we might be able to never have to go through another miscarriage. Were excited for my doctor's appointment yesterday, but then Thursday night in the middle of the night I started bleeding. Doctor confirmed by ultrasound yesterday the miscarriage. So that is 4 now. And I worry that it means more to come. *sigh*
