My heart aches. I just had to put down a baby bird. Last month, I tried to nurse a diffrent baby bird back to health, and I failed. I was crushed. I had him for a whole week, fed him every couple hours. Today I found 3 baby birds on the pavement in front of China House. If I hadn't picked 'em up, they might have been stepped on. OOh! I got my passport in the mail yesterday too. I'm so lame, I actually cried. It's stupid, but I feel a little more free than I did yesterday.

What's new? Well, not allot, except that the Mike Malone sketchbooks are finally printed and on sale. They gave me credit in fine print for tracing the designs. It's pretty rad. They came out nice. Even though all I did was trace, i'm still pretty proud of it. I did my best.

Whee! I finally applied for my passport on Monday. It should be delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. That should be plenty of time by August.... I've been looking at Travel packages, and I'm about ready to go anywhere. So, Erin, gimmie a call soon. I'm getting excited!

Just got my Illinois drivers license yesterday. I gave myself a big pat on the back for being so responsible...after I have been living in illinois for 2 years. Yea, I'm the dictionary definition of responsible! But it's a good feeling... I finally feel like a real illinois-an. and my photo looked cute. :)

I finally know what it's like to barf and shit simultaneously. Now I can say i have truly lived...

La de da, I'm bored for the first time in weeks. I'm just waiting on Richard to finish up a tattoo so we can go home and chill. I can't do much more to Rollo's sketchbook without access to our good copy machine. The one here at the shop sucks, really it's a printer, not a copy machine. What a month! Ive been crazy busy working on this sketchbook for a friend. Just tracing my ass off...and somehow I've managed to fit in a couple tattoos I'm proud of. I did a sweet nurse's head with roses and a red cross, and a Sailor Jerry skeleton riding a motorcycle. Both on forearms of friends. They are my biggest and best so far. Will post ( Read more... )
