lets start with wednesday, where i went to go take some money out of the bank to pay for this poster i needed for my presentation the next day. i ended up at negative four dollars because of a check that was cashed from 2 months earlier that threw me off. so that was really frustrating, more so becuase i get charged for the overdraft than the fact that i oculdnt pick up the poster which i hated anyway. so with that in mind, i still had $5 in my pocket. met some friends at primantis, and ended up having 2 beers there, for a total of $4. so i left with a single bill in my wallet. and well, people wanted to go out and have some more, so i went and i used my single bill to help get some more, and we still ended up drinking quite a bit longer. so i ended up having a fantastic night on a buck, which was really nice.
moving to thursday, i started by rushing to the bank in the morning to cover the overdraft and get enough money in my account that i could get that poster. poster looked fine, but was really pointless. i gave my co-op presentation to 4 fellow students and a camera man. no faculty were present, especially not my advisor whom this was actually for. so whatever, i did that and it was fine.
friday was the big senior design presentation. i think overall it went really great, especially after how it seemed to flow during our runthrough the night before. everyone did there thing really well and i think we said everything that we needed too because the questions we got were pretty goofy since we covered it all in the talk itself. i felt like my part of it went pretty solid, and i actually said prettym much exactly what i wanted to, which is pretty rare for me.
saturday was the FE exam. woke up at 6am, was out by 6:30, test began at 8am and finished at 5pm. what a long test that was. 180 total questions that covered literally everything i think i learned in any engineering class ever. i think it went pretty well though, considering my preparations. sections like chemistry and thermodynamics werent as bad as i thought. but then, sections like economics and statistics were harder than i expected. overall, i htink i did well though, and i really hope now that i did good enough that i won't have to do it again come october. after all that was the grove city colony stuff, which was really nice. i ended up back home around 1am, so my day lasted a good 18 hours of being up and moving.
i slept for 12 hours last night, and today i did nothing until tonight when istarted my work. this transportation independent study is a real pain. without it, i'd have nothing but an easy construction management exam on tuesday night between me and that diploma. as it is, i won't actually finish with this stuff until may first when itake the final for this, which is technically after graduation. if i knew it wouldnt effect me from passing this course, i'd probably not even bother going. but i don't think i could just drop 25% of my grade considering i've slacked a fair amount on trying to do well with these homeworks so even an aced exam on wednesday couldnt put me high enough....
