Haaaappy New Year!
Well, it's officially the new year now. I personally like New Years-- even if we don't keep them, it's nice to sit down and compile goals for the coming year and look back over the last year.
This last year:
-- I got engaged!
-- I got not one, but two cats-- another lifelong dream :)
-- I learned how to paint digitally, with watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, and ink
-- I earned a 4.0/ 4.0 in my Master's program this past semester
-- I moved to another state for the first time in my life
-- I sold my first art work!!!
This next year I hope to:
-- Get married with a minimum with stress!
-- Finish my Master's Thesis and graduate
-- Get a good job that I like
-- Open my art website
-- Complete 20 good new paintings
-- Get several licensing deals
-- Perhaps sell my art at a fair
-- Learn to be more patient!
-- Get in great shape for the wedding
We're starting off pretty well, so we'll see how it goes! Last night I spent hours painting a new painting, which I don't want to jinx, but it's going REALLY well!! Today Tim and I went back to his parents' from mine, so tomorrow I have to do more thesis research, then go BACK to my parents' on Friday, then back here on Sunday lol. Life is grand!
