*insane giggling*

i've been following a couple of issues lately, all of which include people who take the internet way too fucking seriously, and i cannot help but laugh like a madman, because telling them 'it's not real' isn't working.

what is saddest of all in these issues is the age of the people involved. one issue is dealing with a man over 55, another is dealing with a 17 year old, and another is dealing with someone who's only a few years older than i am, and i'm 23.

what is so hard to understand about this statement: the internet is not real and what happens on the internet does not matter.

really, is that so hard to get through to people, or are more people suffering from thick skull syndrome?
