Life-general reportage behind the cut, if it works:
health: Saw an ear specialist about the "dense" feeling that remains in my ear even though I am now able to clear my eustachian tubes. I can hear my heart beat in that ear at night (a very weird sensation, and rather faster than I expected) and I was worried about bursting an ear drum during my next plane trip and diving. Apparently the inner ear was infected when I was sick and the lining may be somewhat thicker at the moment due to that past irritation, but all is now well. An expensive specialist bill but far cheaper than the cost of anxiety and a diving accident.
The gym changes its timetable due to renovations tomorrow. I am finding replacement classes - need to be fit for the holiday, and dancing keeps me sane (mostly.)
Somehow I managed to avoid putting on weight over Easter. I have no idea how that happened but I'm glad. I'm glad the choc-chip hot cross buns are no longer available.
life: We've survived the school holidays with good humor and the house intact. I am looking forward to the return to school, if only for some quiet time for myself. Not so much for the routine of running here, running there though.
puppy report: Kera is recovering well from her nasty scare. She's still old, wobbly and occasionally poopy, but she prances when she sees her food bowl and she watches the world with intent. All is good, for as long as we get to keep her healthy and active.
writing: 790 words yesterday and 2 return critiques for the workshop. Thank you to everyone who is helping me. I'm realising my chapters slow right down between 3 and 7 and that I need to make some relationship and cult-focus things clearer, but that can all be fixed in the next draft. Onward and off to destroy more character lives!

Hmm. I wrote 790 word count, but it only comes out to 2 SMF pages? odd. Must have been dense stuff *g*
