I had a great day at work today! I love Fridays, because a lot of people are gone, so I can step away from the daily stresses and focus on the long-term projects. Today I felt like I covered a lot of ground and actually did some "real" engineering... with calcs and thinking and everything. Haha. And my boss and I were having some pretty good discussions. I kind of want to work through the weekend... but I'm trying to get away from that.
I went to a jazz concert by myself last night. It was pretty awesome. I hadn't listened to jazz in a while. The chords are so dense and rich and.. different. Everything else I had been listening to (which hasn't been much recently) seemed so simple in comparison. I've got to expand my listening selections.
