A Little Better
Well, Kairi had her second chemo treatment yesterday. She appears to be doing okay. The steroids she has to take are really making her hungry and thirsty though. She looks at everything like it's a potential food source, even people (okay, kidding about the people part).
Aside from that, I've been hating life a little less since my last post. I can only hope that the bad luck I have takes a break for a while. Take a vacation mayhem...
I saw the final episode of the live action Ouran High School Host Club. The series wasn't too bad. Yamato Yusuke was good as Tamaki (about as good as anyone could be playing a live action version of him). I'm kinda picky about Tama-chan as he's my favorite character of the Ouran series. Chiba Yudai grew on me as Hani and Nakamura Masaya was a good Mori. The Takagi twins were great as the Hitachiin brothers. My favorite of the cast was Daito Shunsuke as Kyouya. He captured Kyouya well and of course he makes for wonderful eye candy (episode 5 anyone?...).
It's kinda funny since in the manga and anime I was pretty gaga over Tamaki. I loved Miyano Mamoru's portrayal of him in the anime and I just adored him in the manga. Somehow Tamaki ended up taking a back seat in the live action version and I gravitated to Kyouya. Oh well..I've rambled enough.
