THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT.

Well this is...interesting...in a bad way.

THE ANONMEME HAS METASTASISED.

Is there a particular reason why seemingly every time somebody trolls or (clumsily) attempts satire it's assumed that (a) I did it and (b) I was somehow being serious?

(The comment impugning me is a little below the drama with the OP.)

It gets to weigh on one's self-esteem after ( Read more... )

why?, dear god that's bad, sometimes i hate myself and need love

Well, it is the sort of thing I would say if I was drunk, in a depressive episode, and looking to piss people off. But since I'm not in any of those states much less all of them I'm as bemused as you are.

Well, Humans Are Bastards. I made that hoplessly romantic mix that you requested, btw.

Um, what.

...This is why I give the anon_meme a wide berth.

This is fandomsecrets accusing me of posting a Shallow Yuri Fanboy secret (I am in fact a yuri fanboy; it's the 'shallow' part that offended me), not the actual anonmeme. But people hating on me on the Internet started on the anonmeme so that's naturally what I associate it with.

As I said to akashasheiress, it was a much more naive and bizarrely dogmatic version of the sort of the thing I would say, so I understand where the theory came from (plus I occasionally let a friend post to fandomsecrets using my account because he has difficulty figuring out how to do hyperlinks in anonymous posting; Billy's a great guy but not the brightest one), but it's still a little unpleasant to be brought up in the context of 'known fandom idiots' when I haven't done anything notably idiotic or fanbrattish in a while. I'm not even twenty yet; I'm still maturing.

Eeee, pretty icon. XD

Yeah, reputations aren't fun. They can actually be a little creepy. After this one I had to go lie down for a little while.

(And for some reason, I was ABSURDLY pleased at Martha and Rose hugging.)

Perhaps because everybody was afraid that Rusty would make them hate each other like he did in The Sarah Jane Dodgy Characterisation Hour two years previously? XD

LOL that secret is quite something. I never thought that the old adage "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" could be applied to crazy yuri fanboys.
