I cooked a pot roast in the crockpot the other day. Mom's enjoying it warmed up for dinner. I'm watching her eat now, with two cats holding court at her feet. Mom is always generous with her food. Life has settled down again, thankfully, though we're still on alert a bit where Mom is concerned. She has bounced back remarkably from her ordeal, though some days are better than others for her. Maybe I what I was feeling earlier was just a foreboding of how Thanksgiving Eve would turn out. The upshot was more of the same symptoms for Mom. And a bit after my last post she got up out of her chair and didn't get 5 feet before losing her balance and falling.
