Summer's pleasantries
I am in Vermont where life is good and there is no highly unpleasant drought.
I do, however, miss my man, my friends, my car, my bed, and my roaming room. That is fine because I rather enjoy being on my own after consistently being squashed by everyone. (Though I'm not gonna lie - I miss hitting on everyone, it's just so much fun, especially Paul and Michong. Rawr, baby, rawr.)
Anyways, I have BU Orientation from the 6 to the 8th of June, and I leave for Europe with Seth on the 14th. Sabina and Kitty will also be on the Senor Anand-led trip, which we will all have doubtless fun on.
I miss Devin a lot. I'm not aching yet, but maybe that's because I keep expecting him to pop around the corner and hold me. It's almost sickening to be on my own again after half a year of loving someone. Especially when we both still live each other and could be happy together if we were going to the same school. Because no matter how wonderful two people can be, long distance relationships are hard and often wound people in the long run. And I love Devin and my own independence to much to let that happen.
