Oh so sweet
Been spending most of this week so far studying, and occasionally taking a break and watching either Sg1, Americas Next Top Model (watching it with my sisters) and watching Supernatural.
Monday, I went to the school I've been assigned to to observe a lesson and make an analysis of...something... (Why yes, the instructions were *very* vague and crappy as to what we were supposed to do and how everything worked... ) Anyway, I got to meet my supervisor and we talked, but as I explained what our teachers had told us, she said that the lesson I was supposed to observe might not be the best since the students were mostly going to be studying for a mathexam. Which means that I wouldn't be able to take short exchanges between student-teacher make an analysis according to one of the theories we've been studying. In the end we agreed that it'd be best if I showed up the following morning to join in on a 8th grade biology class. I showed up the day after and everything went great - except that I'd forgotten to turn my phone off, instead of just turning off the sound, because in the middle of the recording I did of the class, I got a call... -_-' Ah well, at least I'll know better next time.
Later that very Monday the whole family went to visit Aunt M and family because it was my cousin's birthday. We had a nice time, had lots of excellent food and awesome cake made by Aunt M.
Tried to focus on the analysis of the observations I did of most of Tuesday and all of Wednesday, but I ended up studying more for the exam next week and occasionally watching an ep of Supernatural, as well as going through the backlog of messages and notices I had on my dA-account.
As for today, a new store opened at the mall where I work, so I swung by before lunch to see if they had any nice sneakers. I ended up buying a pair of black sneakers for a reasonable price, as well as swinging by work to pick up the honey I'd ordered through a co-worker. She knows a guy who's parents make their own honey, which I've now tasted, and it's yummy. :)
And now I'm off to watch me some more Supernatural. The odd thing is that there's 2 channels airing Supernatural; the one channel is doing a rerun of the first season (this is the channel that started airing Supernatural first), and then there's the channel that's started airing the third season of Supernatural. Appearently, the latter channel is doing so because they don't have the rights to air the first two seasons - not that it matters much, since the former channel aired the last episode of season three not too long ago. And since everything is messed up and I've seen occasional episodes from season 1 and 3, I kind of hop between and am slightly spoiled about what happens, and still there's lots of things that I have no knowledge of or have heard hints of. Either way, I watch and I enjoy the show. :)
Now I'm only waiting for Heroes to start next week, and Chuck shouldn't be long after. :D And Life! Gotta remember that, as well as Reaper (which I should go back and watch the eps I missed...).
