Had to get up at 6am yesterday. Had to go stay with my grandfather while Aunt M and mother went to get another dental examination at babysis' Uni. Which meant me staying with Grandpa, because he kinda needs help getting up sometimes and someone to fix him breakfast/lunch.
I had initally planned about getting up at 6am, but I didn't get up until 6:30 - and within 20 mins I'd gotten up, had a cup of tea, gotten dressed and put on a little make up and was ready to go. In 20 mins, 25 minutes at the most! I think that's the fastest I've gotten ready...
Anyway, most of yesterday was spent at Grandpa's house, and thus, there was no studying done. And since I had gotten up so early, and slept badly during the night, I was pretty tired by the time I got home. And there was no studying to be done when home either. Was to tired, so I watched CSI instead and had a cup of tea and some dark chocolate.
Speaking of chocolate. I can has chocolate! :D
Bought three lovely bars of dark chocolate. One with dark chocolate covered with milk chocolate (had some last night, it was oh so yummy), one that's dark chocolate with caramelized pistachio, and a dark chocolate with candied raspberry. :D
Moving on, I've got about 6000 words left of my essay - which is due tomorrow... Just might be able to pull a McKay on this. At least I hope so, otherwise I'll have until Monday to hand it in, but then my supervisor will make note of that it was handed in a bit late. That's the worst case scenario, but I'd like to make the deadline.
Other than that, saw the SG1 ep
Meridian this morning. I really like that episode, there's some great subtle acting done there. What with the whole Daniel slowly dying of radioation poisoning, the reactions of the rest of the team and the talks with Oma Desala where Daniel admits that he's felt like his whole life's been a failure .
