Never underestimate the power of a cup of tea
This hasn't been my week. Nope, not at all my week. Though, to be honest, it started Wednesday last week. Got a headache that lasted until last Saturday, and of course that was followed by my neck hurting all Sunday. And by Sunday evening I could feel a cold coming on, which turned out to a fullblown cold by Monday - feeling blah and all.
Also, I worked Thursday to Sunday last week. Of course, with my luck, Friday was the day we started our big sale which meant lots of work and stress and grown women suddently forgetting all sense of manner and common sense. Methinks it's due to all the red sale-price tags... They get confused and aggressive when confronted by a sign that says 'half off sale price'.
Was supposed to work Monday and Tuesday as well, but I just couldn't work. Called in sick instead. By Thursday I felt good enough to go to work, partly because I know that Thursday's are kinda slow days, especially during the late shift. Then I wasn't supposed to have a shift until next Thursday, but a girl at work asked if I could take her shift today, because she had to study for an exam. And thinking about it for a moment, I told her that I'd do it. After all, 6h of double pay. Not going to pass that up, no sir. :D
Other than that, I've got to finish reading 'Sense and Sensability'... -_-' And I've got to come up with something to base my essay on by Wednesday. >_< I hate this. Still don't have a clue what to write about. The closest thing I've come up with is to perhaps do something with comparing the book with the movie adaption with Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman - perhaps even check out the new BBC adaption... Still, I've got to finish the damned book first of all.
Also, have finally found someone who's willing to go see Sweeney Todd with me! Yay! :D
