Because you're mine, I walk the line
Despite the unnecessary trip to Uni the other day to sell a Course Lit. book, it looks like I'll be able to sell it after all. Got a call from some guy earlier today who wanted to know if I still had the book. Made arrangements to meet him at Uni tomorrow at noon to sell it. So not only do i get paid tomorrow, i'll get some extra cash! Yay for monies!
Speaking of money, I dropped by the supermarket on my way to work to see if they had '10 things I hate about you' and ended up buying 'Walk the Line'... Yeah, I had not planned for that, but it was the 2 disc version and it was such a bargain so I just had to buy it. Especially since I had 'I walk the line' stuck on my mind. It was a sign, i tells you, a sign! >_> _>
And to think, I almost bought 'Ned Kelly' and 'Johnny Mnemonic' as well... And they had the first season of Blackadder! I just wish they'd have that Stargate Atlantis season box left. :( It was a really good price on it, but I didn't have the money at the time or I would have totally bought it. And when I returned and had the money, it was gone. Someone had beaten me to it. >_>
I'm not much for shopping clothes, not nearly as babysis(even though I've been keeping an eye out for new pants since the ones I have are getting a bit too big for me now). The main things I buy tend to be books and movies, which shows since my shelves are filled with books and I've got almost 2/3 of a shelf filled with movies. I'd have more if DVD-boxes weren't so expensive. But then again, having a steady income again allows me to buy some more movies every now and then. Or maybe a season of SGA or something if I get some extra shifts or something... Which reminds me, I've finally gotten hold of A Dog's Breakfast! :D Will try to watch it tomorrow! Huzzah!
Anyway, not much else going on. Have officially taken over the shifts of one of the girls I work with, so now i have set days that i work. Every other week I work Monday and Tuesday from 5-8pm, and every other week I work Thursdays 5-8pm. I'm also sure they'll still call me in if someone's ill or some such. Which is excellent, because not only will I have the little money I get from studying but I'll have a more steady income on the side. :D And this means that soon, really soon I'll be able to buy that external harddrive I've been eyeing for a month now. I just need to get paid and make sure to find the best bargain. I've already found one that's available at some online store and it's 500GB for about 899SEK - which is a really good price since I've seen loads of others at that price that only have 250GB...
Once I've gotten my external harddrive I'll really start saving up for my tattoo's. Those beauties are going to set me back quite a bit, but it'll be worth it. I just have to get cracking on the sketch... -_-'
