Yesterday dragged on and it felt like work took forever.
- our facility has been out of toner cartridges that fit my printer for 2 days, I spent yesterday using a half used one and the other girls were sharing a printer that was half way across the room from them... now that is just sad.
- the only good note was in the afternoon finding out one of our clients has gone over budget for the month so we do not have to process any of their work until the start of next month which gives us a little time to try and catch on to what's piling up from the other client which sadly, nobody but me knows how to do and you have to have your own personal printer to not get things mixed up, oh but wait! To use a printer you've gotta have a toner cartridge.
My boss said yesterday the front desk told her that they would be delivered today and before she left she was trying to get more of an idea of what time becuase I quite litterally am about to walk in this morning and ask her for something to do if they don't come in with the morning courier shipments. In turn I for half the day may not actually be able to complete my work due to somebody's idiocy not to order toner cartridges. 3 offices in the building use the exact same model of printer.... there are 3 in our office, and 3-5 in the other two... how do you just NOT have any?
Um last night I chilaxed like a lazy bum. Watched days 2 and 3 of Torchwood. Curse you bbc america for blurring butts. I demand to see Jack butt! But yah other than that I did pretty much nothing yesterday. Toward the end of work though I started having this abhorant craving for pork potstickers which still hasn't gone away... Oh I did help with dinner last night. Logan's still sort of perfecting the recipe but it was chicken breaded in bbq potatoe chips and seasonings. I did the dirty work! I felt very accomplished.
Oh and the last thing before I wrap up, I absolutely love listening to Cure Radio now (http://www.curemediausa.com/index.htm). I can all sorts of fun visual kei on random without having to hook up my hard drive... I like. And apparently Jshoxx merged with Cure USA so that's why it's all cure radio now. I hope they work to bring more bands over to the US becuase they've already shown a good job of it. They also have a funny video comment from ALSDEAD on the site from after Akon. It is very amusing and the guys seem very enthusiastic about coming back to the states, especially to Dallas... lols they want to come back so they can eat American Beef! Good excuse, totally can't blame em for it!
Alright well I'm off to work... I seriously miss having internet up there, even though I would only get to use it for 10 min of a break in the afternoon with as much work as I've got right now, but I still miss it.
