chugin' along
Monday was a long day at work, stayed over an extra hour... money for OT is good but I hate staying late, I'd rather come in early. Yesterday got off on normal time though, and I'm rather irked because my toner cartridge for my printer is out, like I've shakin' it so many times it's not helping anymore out. I asked Monday afternoon for one, they never got me one, asked yesterday afternoon after giving it a few shakes and then come to find out there's none in supply in the building. Vickie (my supervisor) decides we're gonna swap it with another one, which ended up to be worse off and there you have the point in my day where I said "I came in 10 min early I have no qualms leaving 10 min early"........lots of fun i tell ya. They've put so much work on my project that I'm making my way through our box of yellow paper and this is the 2nd toner cartridge I've used since they slammed us down. They brought in the second printer, so when am I supposed to get to teach someone else what I do so they can help? Oh wait, they're slammed too... work's not pretty right now, but at least I can feel the job security.
Last night I tried working on doll stuff but could never get in the mood...ended up watching last weeks episode of Warehouse13 with the guys, and then I got to watch Day 1 of the Torchwood mini series. Day 2 was sitting right there on the DVR but it was 11 and even going to bed on time I had to litterally fling myself off the bed t get up this morning... *sigh* caffeiene is my friend this morning ^_^
