Drusilla tilted her head to the side as she stared at Gohan. "You should kill him."

Gohan's lips quivered and Spike quickly shot him a hard glare to stop the brat from crying. He was pleased that it worked. He had to take what he could get.

"I only wish I could," he said, voice filled with agony.

"I'd even eat him for you," Drusilla offered.

Spike closed his eyes tightly; temptations of things he could never have.

"He's too well-protected," Spike said and shuttered slightly at the image of the boys' mother that appeared in his mind.

Drusilla drifted over to the boy and knelt down beside him. Gohan's eyes widened and he scrambled away. Drusilla followed him, grinning playfully, until the boy was blocked by a wall.

"I think we should buy him some new clothing," Drusilla said. "With lace."

Spike twitched.

When he finally finally gets the sucker he goes Sunnydale and I'll rewrite season two through this crack. asdfksdfasd willow and xander find Gohan for a bit and fail at attempting to babysit him. IT NEEDS TO BE WRITTEN.

wow i just took this in kind of an angsty direction.

omg can you just imagine Dawn and Gohan bonding over their equally suckass destinies? And Gohan's secretly glad that at least this time, it wasn't one of his relatives who died to save the world. But he feels like a jerk for even thinking that, and mostly he really hurts for Dawn - 'cause he does know what it's like to lose someone you love, to miss them and be angry with them and to want them back most of all.
