Chapter 10 & 11
Finally, Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 are up on the old deviantart account.

Please, take a gander. The story goes into a World Was II arch. Don't worry, it finishes by the end of Chapter 11. It's a minor arch compared to the Vegas one and the next one of the French Revolution.
Next up France.
I went to the library the other day and checked out half a dozen French books due to the fact that the next few chapters will have some French dialog. Now I don't know a lick of French. This should end very well. Funny thing is, being half Puerto Rican, I have no problem finding fluent Spanish speakers since I am related to quite a few and yet, I never take the story there. Yeah, I am glutton for punishment.
Still glued to the set thanks to the Olympics. Honestly, as an American nothing makes you realize that you come from a country built up from immigrants than the Olympics. If it wasn't for the outfits I would never be able to tell who was an American and who was not. Even then if I don't catch the little American flag on the athlete's outfits at the beginning, I still end up being confused. Is that weightlifter in the red, white and blue tracksuit American or Russian? He has a Russian last name but then so do many of our athletes.
On the one hand, I think it's cool to see such diversity amongst our athletes. This shows the world what sort of nation we are. On the other hand, it confuses me a little.
Still, I love that this reinforces the fact that anyone can be an American.
