well a few quick updates:
Ole Orch is playing at Orchestra Hall at the end of their tour and its gona be awsome and free and i get to get off campus for it :-D
The crown prince of Norway is coming to visit St Olaf this week
The homecoming concert for my choir and band kicked ass (and i had a solo, great confidence booster after high school and mr brown)
Our choir of 75 freshman guys is possibly the best choir ive been in.
The second tier band im in is soooo damn good (concert in 9 rehersals, 4 pieces)
All the teahcers here are so incredibly inspiring .. i can see what i want to be, where i want to go. Dr. Armstrong gave a speech last week as part of a compitetion for an award he was nominated for for the best educator in the english speaking world. it was on music and faith and it was one of the most incredibly inspiring things ive ever heard ... music does speak to the soul. Im really discovering how much this is true .. it speaks to our soul when nothing else can ... singing is the one art form everyon can be a part of .. it connects all of souls like nothing else.
Im finding a relationship with God ... im not sure what it is .. but its kind of nice after a good year of basically atheism
This whole school is inspiring .. i love it .. im home.
