Part of the March 2008 Lunacy, Beltane is a fragrance Beth has returned to more than once. This year's version:
Mugwort, French rose, Lily of the Valley, broom, frankincense, myrrh, benzoin, foxglove, woodruff, rowan wood, ivy, sandalwood, spring mint, thyme, iris, copal, and night blooming jasmine.
In the bottle and wet: Baby Magic lotion! it's Baby Magic! As it happens, I love Baby Magic! I love it so much I sometimes still buy it! It reminds me of being a kid; it was the default lotion at my house growing up. This smells like really nice, pure Baby Magic, or whatever they scent that stuff with--very well-blended and hard to pick out individual notes, but springlike and innocent. On drydown of about an hour, I get the lily of the valley, thyme and mint. On drydown of several hours, all that's left is the rose and the iris. Mild throw, mild stay. I'm glad I have a bottle.
