I'm so behind on my squee. Today I did two, because the first one,
Titania, didn't have much staying power:
white grape, white peach, iced pear, musk rose, sweet pea, moonflower and snapdragon
This is a very sweet perfume, too sweet even for me. The first impression is the fruits; it's very sweet and fruity, with the peach predominant. It has a fair throw but doesn't stick around long. The little girls have commandeered it, which is fine by me. Into a roller ball it goes.
Then came
Brisingamen, which I had higher hopes for:
five ambers, soft myrtle and apple blossom, myrtle, and carnation
I am an amber fool, and that's definitely the overwhelming scent here. Underneath it all is a little of that spicy carnation, but mostly it's totally amber. Which of course suits Brisingamen, the necklace Freya won from the dwarves with her body. I really like it. The boy, not as much; he says it smells head-shoppy. I think he's high. This goes in the possible bottle row.
