A promise is a promise

This is for my dearest annui. We chatted about L’Arc-en-Ciel’s 2002 crisis on twitter like 5 months ago, and I promised you to post tetsuya’s version. But due to my slowness you’ve probably forgotten about it. Sorry m(_ _)m
Well, I told you it could take long long time XD

I really hoped someone with better skills could do it instead of me >

I hope ( Read more... )

i already knew about this aspect of hyde's personality because in some interviews (about personal taste) he gave really decisive answers. i was surprised too at that time: "wow hyde, what a resolute approach you have" XD

fanfics are fun! but people should always tell fiction from reality, ne?
you can reassure your friend: if hyde and tetsuya talked about their crisis it's because there isn't any close danger of disbandment ^^v

both hyde and tetsuya are persons who thinks deeply before taking any decision. so i'm happy they decided to bring on L' activities :)
i'm going to post the second part of this chapter (even if you didn't ask for it XD) because it gives an interesting perspective on tetsuya's personality.

Also you'll find out that Comet-san is not the one who died in 2012.
Comet-san died on 7th November 2009, the one who died on 31st May 2012 is Manabu Tanaka, that is actually the person who's interviewing tetsuya here.
They are both mentioned in Everlasting booklet.

leader always defend his band, his band members and never forget his friends :)
What an amazing leader!! ^^

Thank you again for your comment m(_ _)m

I didn't know about this side of him XD Because he often looked cute and gave easy going comments about lots of things, eventho I can always see the seriousness in that every comment.

I've been watching old interviews of L' and I can really say they were so close ;__; Going somewhere, enjoying things together.. I miss to see that kind of relationship of them. But yeah, people do change and 20+ years is a very long time for artists to be in a hard music industry to not change. Environment and all must be really wear them off.

Thank you! I would love to see how leader see things too, because I really don't know much about his personality.

Ah thank you very much for the clarification. What a shocking info *o* He was the person who asking questions in this TETSUGAKU2? :O
Could you tell me what was they mentioned for? Something like to remember them?

you're right, in tv comments he's cute and funny, but in interviews, when he shows his goals and tastes sometimes reveals this side of his personality.

i think they enjoyed staying together in the past, and they surely had fun ^^ yes they have changed, that's inevitable of course. i think other people maybe would have disbanded under same conditions, so i'm very happy they decided to keep their band active, even if only once in a while orz

So i was shocked too when i found it @@ they mentioned them in the "thanks" section. Comet comes first, but there's also Manabu Tanaka, who was chief editor of R&R newsmaker (a magazine)

so i'll post soon the following part, just wait a bit ok?
even if it isn't Laruku-related, it's very interesting^^
i don't know much about tetsuya too XD but tetsugaku is very helpful, because it's not like a bio, but more like tetsuya's way of thinking XD

Interviews in magazine and FC magz? I didn't saw many interview being translated so I don't know about this XD;; But I do see he is a very deep person and his way of seeing things is very interesting. My favorite interview of course the Moon Child photobook ;))

I think so too!! It's amazing to see them still together and decided to hiatus instead of disbanding >.< I saw many band only went through 5-ish years :/

Ah, maybe they want to remember the staffs that already support them from years ago? But this Everlasting isn't the first release after their death right? I wonder why they put them in Everlasting booklet....

Is in Tetsugaku2 leader said anything about Nishikawa Takanori? They are best friend afterall right? haha

Both of them, especially when he talks about his tastes and future plans.

yes Laruku mentioned both of them in the "thanks to" section even if they are already dead. i feel that gratitude goes beyond death, doesn't it? we too may be grateful even to dead people. Death never erases feelings, right? ^^

i haven't read the whole book, so don't know XD but there's a whole section called "Message from TETSUYA's circle". guess who comes first XD he speaks about his first meeting with Tetsuya, about what they have in common and so on ^^

How about his future plans? I really think he will keep going on his music, but I have the feel that he also will suddenly stops all his activities when he think he had enough, some kind like retirement >.< I just hope it won't happen so soon T.T

That's true, maybe it also fits the single's theme.. Everlasting in their mind and heart? :) Death indeed won't erase feelings and memories we had with them :)

Woah that would be interesting to read XD I always love to read how people/other artists' impression to my biases (larc, hyde, G). Are there messages from L' members?

What about H's ossession with overseas market XD he already said he can't go on like this forever, V lives are extremely wearing. so i hope he will (in the far future) stop wild lives and make Roentgen 2 and more acoustic lives ;) No retirement at all, please!! but he can take some months off if he needs to relax XDD

No message from L' members (but there weren't in H's bio too, so i'm not surprised) but there's a message from Oishi-shachou. No plan for translation sorry >< at least not in the near future XD
