Leader and fans
When I stumbled upon these words from tetsuya I couldn’t help translating a bit…
“I will never have a twitter account. As for promotion, I think I should use it, because I can make any kind of announcement, and spread it around. But I think I don’t have to write it by myself. My staff can do it for me. As for me, I don’t have any intention to open a personal account”.

When a child, I hated to have a seat near the stage at my favourite artists’ concert. “I can’t see, I don’t want to see them being that close”. It’s much better a place where I can see just a bit, and can’t reach them. From a close position, you can see everything, including flaws, that’s why I don’t want to be there. Since then it has always been like that. Well, I don’t like to be in the very back either. But I don’t like to be too close. I think I prefer to keep myself at a relative distance, and let them remain inaccessible under some aspects. I’m the one in the spotlight now, but I always keep this in mind. I’m behaving like that especially in L’Arc-en-Ciel”.
