Back to school

I'm two weeks into the semester at GTCC. Accounting is interesting, Economics is online but not difficult, Business Law is still in the introductory phases, and Mathematics of Finance is a snooze. But it's my first semester in almost seven years, so I'm not going to complain about an easy class that counts for my degree.

The online adjustment isn't as bad as I feared it would be. It's almost like remembering to check on a game I'm playing online before the quest times out (which I failed to do for one class last week, but I'll make up the ground.) There's a zero tolerance policy for late work and a very limited absentee policy for classes that meet in person, but that doesn't worry me too much. It's how the real world operates, after all.

I've also joined a gym and work out three days a week. There's nothing noticeable in the mirror yet, but some tasks around work are a little easier; not that they were terribly difficult in the first place.

Other than that, life is pretty much the same.
