Progress in work

In a somewhat familiar series of events, I've been my usual hard-working self at my new job. The manager has noticed and I will be the morning driver starting Monday. The correlation is that there is enough business in the evenings to support multiple drivers but never enough to do so in the morning, so the morning driver has to be a good one because he has no backup. If he's running late to work or takes too long on deliveries it's more problematic than it is when other drivers can pick up the slack.

Hopefully this manager will be around for a while and this series of events won't play out to the same conclusion that it did the last two times it took place; with Travis at DSW and Wes at Domino's. *crosses fingers*

Tomorrow I'll be getting copies of my 1040 made, which is the last piece of paperwork GTCC needs to process my financial aid. Saturday I'm going by the college to drop said paperwork off and register for the spring semester. Tomorrow I also welcome a new roommate that I met at work. Kay and I have sat down and talked with her and we think it will work out well. Help with bills is definitely a good thing when the person you live with is otherwise acceptable, which we agree she is. For now she'll use the other twin bed in Kay's room; when my lease runs out in February we'll move into one of the three bedroom apartments if we're all happy with each other as roommates.
