I can't wait for Friday. If everything goes as planned, it is going to be the coolest day ever. But, I can't spoil the surprise right now, in case a certain person reads this. So I'll have to post it afterwards.
I have my Healthcare Informatics Speech tonight and I'm a bit scared. I guess I'm more scared for the paper that I will be handing in, rather than the speech...but whatever. I guess this professor is a really tough grader and that freaks me out. He really likes me and expects a lot out of me, so if he doesn't like my paper, I will feel ultra dumb. Plus it's my first Grad School research paper. Ughh.
Yesterday I turned in my Internship application and my scholarship application. If I get the internship, I will be gone all next summer. Let's just hope I have to worry about that. If I get the scholarship, I get to go to Dallas for free, from Feb 13 - 17 for a Conference. Plus I get $5,000. If I can, I am going to take that money and travel abroad. I think I have a pretty good shot at it, so that's exciting. I just hope I get at least one of them. However, if I don't get either one, next summer I am going to take the Security+ exam. Considering I can't take summer school anymore and would only be working, I should be somewhat productive w/my time. Plus, I would be certified in what I want to do and would learn a lot of cool things. So last night I ordered 2 books to help me study for it. Who knows, maybe I'll start reading over the winter break. Don't I have an exciting life? Hehehehe.
Other than that, there is nothing too exciting going on. I actually feel a bit bored. Yes, I could study and read ahead, but I'm not that much of a dork. Luckily, the NYC trip is less than 2 months away. ROCK ON!!!
