I’ve been waiting for something, I’ve been sitting for too long. I’ve been waiting but oh tonight, this one last try, goes on and on and on
"This is the Countdown" by Mae
I must say, Mae has captured me lately, but I think these lyrics explain how I feel the best. They are my current life-soundtrack. I feel like this one last try, this one last time at home, is going on and on and I can't wait for it to be over.
Oh, MMMEEEEEEEEGGGGGGGAAAAAANNNNNNN?????!!!!! When are you going to post? I know I seem to be the only one who is interacting here, but I am eager for your lyrics/quotes as well! :) Please???
So, this is my situation. I have a poem in mind but I cannot find my copy of it anywhere. I know it is in some folder in my room and I know I saw it a couple of weeks ago when I was cleaning. God only knows where I moved it. I believe this could be an argument against cleaning your room. You can never find anything afterward. Instead, what I will do is describe the poem to you and if and when I find it, I will post it for you to read. It is all I can do at this point and I really like this one and don't want to share another one at this point

I too think this is a such a problem today. If parents only knew what they were doing. Only a true Christian home can battle against Satan's tactics to capture the children of this age. My own brother has tried to find solace and happiness in other things...a direct result of our broken home if you ask me. I'm so passionate about this. Thanks for posting. It is some encouragement to me.
I'm overdue for a postmegs2911March 24 2006, 01:34:51 UTC
Sorry it has taken me so long - I have been over negligent of my LJ account... But here's the song that's been on my mind and in my heart in the past, oh, month or so. I love the depth of the song as well as the simplicity - says a lot for hymns (where the verses came from) and touches on some parts of faith that I find so intriguing and important
