Bad News
My mother just told me that we will not, in fact, be hosting a Chinese boy in our home. I'm rather disappointed; my mother and I are HIV+ and the boy's parents are uncomfortable with that. *sigh* The organization is still on the look-out for a year-long female exchange student, though, so there is still a good possibility that I will have another occupant in my house.
Alas...
I was extremely tired at 7:30 P.M., but now cannot fall asleep. I think I will watch the next Doctor Who episode on my agenda.
Also, scarletsherlock reminded me to sign-up for NaNoWriMo! I attempted to complete my goal last year, but failed to do so for many reasons. This year I shall succeed!
Oh, and one final thing: I quit cross-country today. I am afraid that too many other activities in my life are making practices and meets very difficult to attend; or, rather, I am too tired after practice to focus on my school work. I am just going to run on my own; I love running too much to stop the sport. A marathon is still in the making, after all.
I have creative writing class tomorrow! My classmates are giving me feedback on A Redress of Grievances! Yikes!
