Late Night With Leigha

Aug 18, 2007 15:09

Yesterday was a very, very good day. I finished a long and tedious twenty-page paper, worked the spotlight and played Ms. Kleine in the third showing of The Long Red Herring, went to a very interesting cast party, and had Leigha spend the night. Leigha and I are the exact same person; we have the same world views. We are often scared of our similarities. We both like odd music and what is funny is that we both like the exact same odd music and dislike the same bands. We were up until five o' clock in the morning checking out the other's music library; I introduced her to Feist and Brendan Bensen and she introduced me to Daft Punk, the Gorillaz, and Marilyn Manson. I have officially decided to see Daft Punk live. It must be done.

I never did understand her liking of Marilyn Manson; he always creeped me out. But, wow, I listened to Coma White and understood. The song almost made me cry. So, I'll turn to her for some of her song suggestions.

Today is my last day of staying up late and acting crazy. Tonight is the last showing of the play... which makes me inexpressibly sad. I cannot believe that school starts Wednesday! Somebody pinch me.

Toodles!
