Its the first day of school tomorrow.  Dun, Dun, Dun.  How did this come so quickly?  I just don't know.  It sure is weird going back to school when most of your friends are done.  Out their in that big old world trying to be all adult like and get a REAL job.  I don't have to be there yet, thankfully...but on the other hand...I do have to be back here.  Here in the land of academia.  Oh the fun that awaits me.

Classes look great for monday, wednesday, and friday.  Superb actually.  It is the Tuesdays that will kill me.  They are thinking of movingmy 4:30 class to 5...if they do that, I won't get out until 5:50...which makes for a long Tuesday when my first class starts at 8am.  Yes 8 am.  I avoided that time period for a class like the plague.  Lucked out one year with this one math class...and now I have no choice but to meet at 8am.  Tuesdays mean 5 total classes.  Slightly insane I say...but whatevs, it is how it is and they pick the schedule for me this quarter.  I don't have any say over those 5 classes and what days I have them on...just how it is really.

Thursday I am in the classroom all day at a nearby elementary school.  That sounds like it should be very interesting and I am excited to see where God places me (or if you want to think about it as the school staff placing me).  I might get put in the upper elementary grades...even though I like the younger ones, because I told them I wouldn't mind experiencing something different to see if I really do want to teach k-3.  In all reality when I get a job it will depend more on what grade needs to be filled then on my preference...I can't really be too picky with this or I will never get a job.

On another note, I am seriously considering not getting a job teaching right after I graduate...Thoughts on that?  Might take a year off to do something else of worth before I enter into the job world of teaching.  But really, that is way too far off to decide now.  So for the present I just get ever more nervous about student teaching in the winter and spring.

Toodles for now.  Anyone else want to post an update soon?  (Thanks for yours Chels, I liked the orange font).
