May 16: Jeff's Birthday! The day started off... badly. :(  We committed the unthinkable act of running the microwave at the same time as the toaster and blew a fuse in the kitchen! Jeff knew to check the fuse box and reset the power but that didn't work - there was still no electricity in our kitchen! So we called our landlord and left a message.
