My Skin Update

I don't know what is going on with my skin... When I was suffering from a clogged milk duct, I broke out in a rash all over my chest. It didn't itch - it was just there and looked knarly. I got cream to treat it but was on antibiotics at the same time. Last week I was freaking out because I ran out of cream and the rash was getting worse... It spread to my tummy and parts of my back, arms, and legs. And it was starting to itch. Really bad. Thankfully, I got a refill and a response email from my doc letting me know that the cream may be delayed in curing the rash due to the antibiotics I was taking. Sure enough, once I was done with the antibiotics, the rash started clearing up.
But then I keep getting this really random rash on my left ear lobe which extends down part of my neck and over to the crease of my left eye. WTF? I thought it was my earrings... actually, at first I thought it was Oliver because I always carry him on that side (for some weird reason?). I got it first right after we got home from the hospital and then again last week. The exact same rash... I put lotion on it and it clears up but it's so annoying! What is causing it?!
Then yesterday, my lips felt super dry all day. I was drinking water and applying chapstick like crazy. But then they starting feeling different, as if they weren't just chapped. When I looked in the mirror, I noticed parts of my lips were redder and puffier. I also noticed some red bumps over my upper lip. W...T....F?! Naturally, I googled it. I refuse to believe I have herpes - where the hell would I get herpes from?! My best assumption is that I have perioral dermatits. I think it's that because one of the causes that triggers a reaction is a bacterial or fungal infection. Bingo. That was what my chest rash was diagnosed as. One of the treatments is lavender oil, which I recently bought to help keep my milk ducts clear. What did I do before lavender oil?! What a cure-all! That and apple cider vinegar, apparently... haven't tried that yet. And to ease any worried minds, if it doesn't clear up by the end of the day, I'll go see my doctor. Again....
So what in the world is going on with my skin?! I know I have sensitive skin in that I burn easily in the sun, but I've never suffered from as many rashes as I am having right now. Geez.... I guess Audrey's eczema issues may have been inherited from me. I hope it all clears up soon. Right now, my lips look lop-sided and we were going to take our family Christmas picture today.... Maybe I'll just send a Christmas greeting of just the kids this year. *sad face*
