Valentine's Day... whamp whamp...
I really blew it for Valentine's Day this year... I don't know what happened but the day came and went and I didn't get Jeff anything. :(
I wouldn't feel so bad if we had agreed to not get each other gifts but we didn't. We said "nothing big" and "if you're going to get me a gift, you can get me _____." I told Jeff he could get me a new towel set for the bathroom (since we haven't had an upgrade since our wedding day!) and he told me I could get him new cologne.

And do you know what my husband said? "That's ok - I know you've been stressed and busy." This is the truth.
We left for our traditional weekend in Idyllwild the day after V-day. I took a half-day on Friday and came home to pack and get ready. AND go out to lunch with Jeff. That was when I saw he had a gift for me and I had nothing for him. But we went to one of our favorite local restaurants, Sakura Ichi - sushi!!! It's been ages since I've had sushi so this was really a treat. And Jeff just loved spending the afternoon together. Although I kept apologizing profusely, he assured me to thinking nothing of it and we had a beautiful afternoon.
I did attempt to redeem myself in Idyllwild. I went in to town with Jim, Cassie, and Jackson and found some hot sauce and hot peanuts, which I bought Jeff. He loved them, which made me happy :)
Idyllwild photo update coming soon! For now, here is a video of Audrey taken on V-day. She is attempting to blow a train whistle and is wearing the cutest Hello Kitty tutu dress! Enjoy :)
