Backdate: February 22, 2011
Today, Jeff and I heard Baby J.'s heartbeat for the first time! Jeff told me he was nervous when the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat right away. But after (literally) about a minute of rubbing my belly, we heard the beautiful sound and then it went away. The doctor chuckled and said "It's wiggling already!" Then she moved the doppler around a little more and found the beat again. It sounded like whoosh-whoosh, whoosh-whoosh and was just so magical! The rate was between 140-150 and very strong. We are so happy!
