My whole moratorium on dating the baseball player lasted an entire day.
He asked me out to dinner tonight and we went right after my shift ended.
And he was cute (with these amazing hazel eyes) and sweet and funny and reads actual books and understood my love of To Kill a Mockingbird and indulged my love of traveling to Europe and opened doors and paid and insisted we go for ice cream afterwards.
It would have been the best first date I think I've ever gone on - no ackward pauses, never a lull in conversation, usually laughing, completely comfortable the entire time with him.
Only... he has a girlfriend.
