getting better... and better
on good faith today, I went to the grocery store. I freaked out because the total was like $80... but then I realized that I had forgotten to run my Safeway Card, and I always look for their 10 for 10 deals and such... I saved almost $25 by using the card, and buying generic brands! And NOW I have foooooooood!!!
I also found my missing debit card. Apparently I had left it at the bank when I ordered checks. I didn't even remember taking it out of my wallet. Go figure. At least I don't have to wait to get a new debit card in the mail now!
I also just got offered a very good part/full time job (it's going to have to be part time considering that I already accepted a part time job with the dressage trainer.) I'm over qualified, but that's okay by me. I'll be working with the cardiologist that I babysit for, in his office as an administrative aide. Making somewhere in the neighborhood of $13/hr I believe. Which is SO much better than the nothing I'm making now. Plus I'll maybe get some benefits, since I'm working in a medical clinic. They need me until Christmas, which works out perfectly for me
and lastly, I GRADUATED FOR REAL. All the red tape, all the crap deadlines, all the stupidness, it's all done with. I get my degree. It's about damn time. (pardon the french)
Now I'm off to finish my freelance work. Plus there is a really sweet thunderstorm, and that makes tonight all the better.
