Just a quick update! Whew what a weekend!
I shot a baby session which went fabulous, I can definitely tell I'm improving. Oh yeah, and that was after getting up and cleaning stalls, taking a lesson on Lacey and the clinic, and then shooting a session for another girl at the barn during hers!
My lesson on Lacey was fabulous. We worked on engagement of BOTH of our behinds, halfpass, really nice walk-canter transitions, and then schooled some canter pirouette!!! I have pictures, Kent was kind enough to brave the world of dressage photography (harder to tell him how to take a photo than jumping 'when I'm over the jump, take a picture ;) But he did pretty good for a first timer!
I briefly rode Mac yesterday, he's sound again, after a few days on 'bute. I think it was just inflamed, I don't think there was an abcess from the quicking. Poor boy. But, we had a light ride, and he was glad to get out, so that was nice!
I'm having such a busy weekend, but it's been happy. I'm on my way to shoot an engagement session for one of my best friends, and then to Terry Bison Ranch for lunch for father's day and Kent's parent's 40th wedding anniversary!! Wowsas!!
