where did the weekend go?
Okay, technically I had a weekend. I did a ton of stuff though, got up early-pants on Saturday, Sunday, and today... sooo... yeah. Now it's Monday again!
I made my almost-last payment for Lacey today! Now I'm down to $500... and it's funny that that may be the harder part of it for me to make! I'm awaiting my vet bill for Ella's shoeing and hocks, which is going to make my September sad money-wise. They Hayses were awesome and helped me out with the hock cost, which helps a lot, it's just hard to get one vet bill for two months of appointments... rather like sticker shock ;). I've been sort of preparing myself for it so that's okay - at least I was expecting it! So far everything has worked out, and although it's been tighter than OJ Simpson's glove, I think I'll make it through. Next month has ella's vet bill, my license renewal for my car (boo!), and paying back my Dad... as long as I can cover that stuff, I'll be good to go. Oh, and some gasoline, which somehow keeps getting used up. What is with that?
My forehead is burned thanks to the three softball games I played on Saturday. Also, my legs have been sore, along with my shoulders. Let's just say I think I've had my quota of softball for the year. Yeah.
I'll detail how my riding is going in another post, I've felt very scattered today, and I'd rather wait until I sound coherent.
Went camera shopping yesterday, but alas as stated above, I don't think it's in my budget for a while yet. *sob*. I like the Canon 1100IS, and it's not that expensive but I have to set priorities, right? I also DROOLED over the beautiful SLRs while I was in the store -- SOMEDAY one will be mine.
hmmmmm okay. that's it for now. This was boring, but oh well. what are you going to do?
