Currently reading Eudora Welty's On Writing - and hoping it will rub off on some of mine. Although re-reading her short stories hasn't helped me (yet) to cut any of mine down. I seem categorically unable to write something short and sweet. Maybe I'll just start sleeping with it under my pillow and hope it works via osmosis ( Read more... )
