It seems that some people don't like the term "piracy" because it makes the activities associated with it out to be romantic.

I have a hypothesis.

If one hands out free doughnuts every morning for a year on a business-oriented street, people will love it. They will grab more for their friends, etc.

If you stop after a year, many will have ill feelings toward the giver. Some might even try to take action against the giver.

I would love to be able to test this.

This is one of the many reasons that no one should use AOL. There is always a better way.

What's funny to me is "AOL for broadband". It's like attaching a giant tick to your ass for no apparent reason.

It amuses me to hear folks talking about things they've heard as if those things are fact. Things like, "English is the hardest language to learn." and "Francis Bacon wrote Shakespeare's plays."
