I've been following the Landover site for a long time, and I love it. I wish some of my so-called Christian friends (so-called because they think anyone who does not believe/behave exactly as they do are condemned to eternal damnation. Not exactly what Christ intended ;) ) could see themselves in it. I'm a Bible-thumping Christian myself, but hopefully, I will never betray my faith by condemning anyone just because they think or believe differently.
As for the circumcision article, thank you for the link. As you can see in my reply to the author, when you were born I had to sign a release form - not for the surgery, but to prevent it! At least things have changed that much.
When my son was about to be born, I did not want him to be cirsumcised. I felt it was cruel and downright weird. MY mother (a nurse) was the one who put up the most fuss about it.
The Myth about preventing infections and how my son wouldn't feel any pain were the ones she used.
Somehow it happned anyway even though I do recall saying I didn't want it done. It was the one time I recall my ex and my mom being in agreement on something.
I think its freakin' evil. I think it should be outlawed.
