The Salvation Army on Homosexuality (And another link) I've never been a fan of religion-based charities, anyway, and the whole idea of "salvation" of the soul actually makes me want to punch something, but I've known that the Salvation Army isn't worthy for a long, long time. They're also very active in trying to meddle in government which makes them ineligible for any sort of tax evasion based on their hobbies of belief, yet they, like so many others of their ilk, remain tax-free. I can't say that I actually hate the Salvation Army, but I wouldn't mind if it just went away forever. I can't say that I hate any non-sentients, really. It's like hating a rabid dog or a forest fire. Get rid of them any way you can, but don't waste any emotional effort on it.
But then I am of the opinion that no religion should be recognized by the state in any way and that every one should be taxed according to its income and holdings, just like the rest of us. This would be just one more step toward freedom and liberty.
