Praise Reports
Well, big news today. Let me tell you how good God is.
So, you guys know how I've been complaining about my crazed job @ Papyrus. And I've been praying hard for a new job, worrying how I would take on working during all of my break time from school.
Well, I was chilling at the store, bored to death, and this woman walks in. She walked right up to me, told me her name, and then discussed how the store where she worked (Neu Haus Chocolates) was desperately looking for part-time work. The salary was $12 an hour, and to let anyone who's looking for work know about it. Little did she know, that was me. Of course I jumped at the chance, letting her know I would bring her my resume.
I did it. Then yesterday, I stopped by for my short interview with her and her boss, and they gave me the job on the spot. That's the goodness of God. And the abrupt nature of His response really makes so grateful, and excited. So yes, the reign of Papyrus is over, lol. No more snooty boss. Yay! And its only on tuesdays/wednesdays/saturday/sunday's, so I have some kind of break to get my work down. YAY!!!!
But yeah. It's a luxury chocolate store. Chocolate. Belgian Chocolate. Dark Chocolate. Need I say more? Add $12 and hour, and you get the perfect situation, lol.
Then to top it all off, When I started school yesterday. I got the class that I needed. After my hurried, angry post, about two or three posts back. It just shows how the enemy wants to get you off of your guard, filling your mind with complaints, and keeping it on the things you dislike, instead of the many blessings God gives everyday. But I thank God that during our times when we lack faith, or we aren't strong, He still shows Himself strong. That's love!
