Tonight, for the first time this year, it finally felt like fall. I had forgotten how much I love the feeling of cool, crisp air, the sound of my windchimes on the patio tinkling in the wind, and the smell of candles burning. It was a nice, cloudy and cool day today, and was windy and almost stormy tonight. It was full-on Halloween weather, and I enjoyed it immensely! It makes me want to sit around and drink hot cider all night long while burning candles around the apartment. Curl up with a good book, work on a cross-stitch, or watch some postseason baseball! It's all intertwined into a wonderful appreciation for fall and the changing of the season. Never mind that the Dodgers lost a horrible game tonight -- it's October 10th, and I'm enjoying postseason baseball! Now it really is the Fall Classic. Hopefully the Dodgers can pull off wins for me on Sunday and Monday nights at Dodger Stadium when I'm there to cheer them on.... That would make my fall complete! :)
And now to go read some scary stories and enjoy wearing pajama PANTS to bed for once (it's finally cool enough!). Hmmm, I'm thinking I'll read Poe this year.... :)
