This volume mostly focuses on Yaki's early years in the butcher camps. I am torn between "man, Batu has strange ideas about how to raise a kid" "DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS DONE TO KIDS! JUST SKIP AHEAD!" and "well, it worked with Batu and Genji..."
Someone's going to come out of that the toughest teenaged girl in pseudo-Korea, though.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bishie With A Very Important Braid(or some such) makes his presence felt. And Yaki makes a new bestest friend forever by offering him water. Honestly, the girl is building up a mini-harem of potential love interests before she even has breasts.
Meanwhile, i begin to suspect that Genji had A Thing for Yarong. And I become very curious about her less-than-illustrious-past.
