East and West Asian Fandom Rec-A-Thon

We have friending memes and we had a few metafests a couple months back, but I thought it might be fun to see if anyone was interested in a rec-a-thon for East and West Asian fandoms, both big and small.  (Though preferably a bit closer on the small?  though the "big" would probably mostly only apply to things like the larger animanga fandoms.  I mean, I'm sure most people who would be interested are aware of Bleach, Slayers, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, etc.)  Original-to-post recs, your writeups/picspams, other people's (who don't mind) rec posts, etc.

If you're interested (even if only to see what other people come up with) spread the word.  (I have no idea how to do those code box things to link back, though.)
